My Grandmother and Great Aunt baked award-winning scones when I was growing up. The Scone Goddess yields the closest scone to theirs Ive ever had. And they are astonishingly easy to make! My friend Cindy discovered The Scone Goddess during a family trip to Maine and gifted a package to me. Since then I've actually ordered a variety of flavours and gifted them to my sisters and nieces.
I love scones. Bakery scones are often dry, crumbly and lacking flavor. Your scone mix was so easy, just mixing in heavy cream. The flavor was amazing. Such a treat.
Love everything about the cranberry!
Put some in the fridge overnight. The next day I put one in the microwave for 12-15 seconds then put a very small amount of butter on top. Have also sprinkled cinnamon on top of others.. Don't get me wrong, they are yummy by themselves!!
Love the cranberry orange scone mix. I make them according to the directions but I also like to add orange zest and top them with an orange glaze. Family and friends like them best of all the flavors. I add mix-ins to most package mixes that I make. Scone Goddess should compose a list of add-ins and off it to those who buy the mixes. I also love the recipe you offered to make carrot cake scones out of the ginger scone mixes.
